Gareebo ka God Of War – A Fanmade Tribute to a Legend

 

The Idea

This wasn’t just a random project. I didn’t want to "copy" the original — I wanted to celebrate it. The story, the combat mechanics, the emotional depth — it all pushed me to create a tribute that PC players on a budget could enjoy, especially those who maybe never got to experience the real thing on a console.

So, I rolled up my sleeves and opened up Unity 3D.


What Makes It “Gareebo Ka”?

This isn’t God of War with 4K textures and Hollywood-level cutscenes. It’s more like God of War if it were made in a Mumbai internet café on a tight deadline — scrappy, heartfelt, and a bit unpolished… in the best way. But that’s the charm. It’s meant for people who appreciate the grind, who find joy in something made with love, not money.
